Part 1 Assignment 1: Say Hello! KS

 

Hello! My name is Hannah and one of my dreams is to make a career out of my art, I have practiced art for years hesitant to start a course or anything but now I think it’ definitely time to get a degree and become a professional. Over the last few years, I have been working a lot more digitally than I used to and now I mainly illustrate funny weird cartoons and produced some commissions out of it, although I love working digitally, I think I will always prefer traditional art. My most used forms of mediums are acrylic, watercolour(tubes) and pencil. I feel confident in using acrylic as I like the process of working rather quickly. I have always wanted to explore oils, but I am always intimidated because even with all the research I do its never turned out right. Lately I have had a little bit of an artist’s block, but I am hopeful this course with inspire me to try expanding my skills as I feel I haven’t reached my full potential or found MY style yet. Aside from art I love the outdoors, hiking and any form exercise It really helps with my stress levels and anxiety. I think throughout this course I know I can rely on exercise if things ever get overwhelming. Oh… and my favourite colours yellow.
